Present Perfect Tense

Penggunaan Present Perfect Tense: Present Perfect Tense digunakan untuk menyatakan:

1. Tindakan yang terjadi pada suatu waktu yang tidak spesifik di masa lalu dan masih relevan hingga sekarang.
   • Example: She has visited Paris.
2. Tindakan yang telah terjadi dan dampaknya masih terasa hingga sekarang.
   • Example: They have finished their homework, so they can play now.
3. Pengalaman hidup tanpa menyebutkan waktu tertentu.
   • Example: I have never eaten sushi.

Rumus:

• Positif (Verbal): Subject + has/have + Verb 3 + Object

  • Example: He has completed the project.

• Negatif (Verbal): Subject + has/have + not + Verb 3 + Object

  • Example: He has not completed the project.

• Pertanyaan (Verbal): Has/Have + Subject + Verb 3 + Object?

  • Example: Has he completed the project?

• Positif (Nominal): Subject + has/have + been + Complement

  • Example: They have been friends for ten years.

• Negatif (Nominal): Subject + has/have + not been + Complement

  • Example: They have not been friends for ten years.

• Pertanyaan (Nominal): Has/Have + Subject + been + Complement?

  • Example: Have they been friends for ten years?
