Present Simple Tense  (Verbal Sentence)

Penggunaan Present Simple Tense: Present Simple digunakan untuk menyatakan:

1. Kebiasaan atau kegiatan rutin yang dilakukan secara teratur.
   • Example: She walks to school every day.
2. Fakta umum yang selalu benar.
   • Example: The sun rises in the east.
3. Kondisi permanen.
   • Example: He lives in Jakarta.

Rumus:

• Positif: Subject + Verb 1 (s/es) + Object
  • Example: She reads a book.
• Negatif: Subject + do/does + not + Verb 1 + Object
  • Example: She does not read a book.
• Pertanyaan: Do/Does + Subject + Verb 1 + Object?
  • Example: Does she read a book?

Present Simple Tense (Nominal Sentence)

Penggunaan Nominal Sentences: Kalimat nominal dalam Present Simple Tense digunakan untuk menyatakan keadaan, sifat, atau kondisi subjek, tanpa menggunakan kata kerja aksi. Kata kerja yang digunakan adalah bentuk dari "to be" (am, is, are).

Rumus:

• Positif: Subject + am/is/are + Complement
  • Example: She is a teacher.
• Negatif: Subject + am/is/are + not + Complement
  • Example: She is not a teacher.
• Pertanyaan: Am/Is/Are + Subject + Complement?
  • Example: Is she a teacher?

Catatan:

• Am digunakan untuk "I".
• Is digunakan untuk subjek tunggal (he, she, it).
• Are digunakan untuk subjek jamak (you, we, they).
